Cool and useful! But why Chinese and English names?

Love this app. Super fun and easy to use. Very helpful and informative. On top of that, it looks great.
I do want to know why it had the English and Chinese names though. Granted that it is cool that it has the names in a language other than English, but why not also the Japanese names?
